RallyUp Teaching Scholarship. Debt-free. Purpose-built.

We pay for college. In return, graduates pledge to teach where they're needed most — in RallyUp-partnered community schools. Priority goes to the 60% of each cohort headed for the classroom; the rest of their career is theirs, no strings.

The Debt Crisis

Debt steers graduates away from the classrooms America needs.

$29,560
average student debt at graduation for bachelor's borrowers (College Board 2024)
26.9%
less pay for teachers vs. similar graduates — a record gap (EPI 2024)
4%
of bachelor's degrees are in education today — down from ~21% in 1970 (Pew)

The RallyUp Scholarship

What we cover, and what we ask.

What we cover

Tuition + fees (4 yrs)$47,800
Housing & food (4 yrs)$55,600
New-teacher stipend (3 yrs)$15,000
Total invested per educator$118,400

What we ask

The teaching pledge: teach in a RallyUp-partnered community school (minimum 3-year commitment after graduation).

Beyond the pledge years, a scholar's career is completely unrestricted — stay, lead a school, move districts, or go build something new.

Repayment only triggers — proportionally, not punitively — if a scholar leaves teaching before fulfilling the pledge.

The 20% Protected-Planning Commitment

We build real planning time into the paid day — it's the reason teachers don't burn out.

  • 55% Direct classroom instruction
  • 25% Prep, grading, family communication
  • 20% Protected planning & professional development
