Privacy Policy

• Account details: your name, email, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
• Household information: for each household member you add, their first name, optional last name, and date of birth. We use date of birth solely to determine whether a member is an adult (age 18+) who must enroll, or a minor billed the flat $20/mo healthcare fee.
• Financial connections (Plaid): transaction data needed to compute round-ups. We never receive or store your bank login credentials.
• Payments (Stripe): customer and payment-method identifiers, subscription records, and charge history for round-up collection, the minor healthcare fee, and any authorized commitment-shortfall charge.
• Commitment & enrollment records: your acceptance of the $1,000/yr commitment, the shortfall method you authorized, and round-up totals used to measure progress.

• To calculate and collect round-ups and direct funds to the collective pool.
• To enforce household enrollment rules and bill the under-18 healthcare fee.
• To measure your annual round-up total and, if you opted in, to collect an authorized shortfall so you reach the $1,000 commitment.
• To operate, secure, and improve the program and communicate with you about it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not access, intercept, or garnish your tax refunds or wages — any tax-refund or paycheck contribution toward a shortfall is a voluntary arrangement you choose and control. The only automatic charge is one you expressly authorize through Stripe.

We share data only with service providers that operate the program — including Plaid (account connectivity), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and database providers — and as required by law. Each processes data under its own privacy terms.

We collect minimal information about household members under 18 (first name, optional last name, date of birth) solely to administer the flat healthcare fee. This information is provided by the enrolling adult account holder, who is responsible for having authority to share it.

You may review or remove household members, change or revoke your shortfall authorization, and cancel membership at any time from your dashboard. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data, subject to records we must retain for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
